No school like Old School

Music from the 90s never gets old. There are only a handful of consistently eargasmic tunes on the radio. I mean, for how much longer can you listen to Katy Perry sing without subconsciously (or for others, consciously) wanting to consummate your very own Teenage Dream? (Props to her though for making such a thought sound romantic.) In light of that, here are two '90s songs (out of all the ones that I love) I think everyone should listen to:

# All I Want - Toad the Wet Sprocket

Nothing's so cold as hearing when we lie
The truth is not kind, and you've said neither am I

# Til I Hear It From You - Gin Blossoms
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7sx32alzeE&ob=av2e

I don't wanna take advice from fools
I'll just figure everything is cool
Til I hear it from you

I love how the simplicity of these lyrics speaks volumes. I don't think most of us has ever driven up to Cali and gotten drunk on a beach there, but I'm sure listening to one of these tunes tugs a bit at the loosened heart strings.

PS: Gin Blossoms will be performing LIVE IN MANILA on November 18 at the Araneta Coliseum!! Too bad it's a Thursday and I've class early the next day. :(
